About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, skilled Painter and Decorator to carry out painting, decorating, and refurbishment works across our multiple sites. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes, can manage their own workload, and works efficiently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out interior and exterior painting and decorating works to a high standard
  • Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, stripping, priming, and plaster patch repairs where required
  • Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other decorative finishes
  • Complete reactive decoration works following maintenance issues, repairs, or refurbishments
  • Identify defects and recommend appropriate remedial works
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health & safety requirements
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and tidy condition
  • Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator in domestic, commercial, or maintenance environments
  • Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and decorating materials
  • Experience with wallpaper hanging, woodwork finishing, and specialist coatings desirable
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple locations
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and customer service skills
