Company Overview

GX Modular Ltd is a leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of beautiful garden annexes and micro homes. We create innovative and high-quality homes in back gardens that enhance our clients lives while maintaining a focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

This is a varied role working on premium modular buildings both within our manufacturing facility near Bury St Edmunds and, predominantly, at domestic customer sites across the UK.

We are seeking someone who takes genuine pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and understands the importance of delivering a first-class finish in customers' homes.

The Role

  • Internal and external painting and decorating of completed annexes
  • Surface preparation including filling, sanding and making good
  • Application of primers, undercoats and finishing coats
  • Finishing works prior to customer handover
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping
  • Representing GX Modular professionally when working at customer properties

About You

You will have:

  • Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
  • A strong eye for detail and quality finishes
  • Experience working in residential or high-end domestic environments
  • Experience in working-away several days each week (but never weekends).
  • Good customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A positive and reliable attitude
