We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces through colour and design, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality finishes. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects and ensure consistency across projects.
• Measure and cut materials accurately for decorative elements such as wallpaper or borders.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople when necessary to complete projects efficiently.

Skills

• Proficient in painting techniques and methods with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to drive to various job sites as required.
• Strong command of English to facilitate clear communication with clients and team members.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks.
• Capability to work independently while also being a supportive team player.
