About Us

Nene Valley Fire & Acoustic Ltd are a specialist contractor delivering high-quality fire protection solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Painter/Decorator to support our installation teams with finishing and making-good works.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for carrying out painting, decorating, and making-good works following door installations and fire boarding systems. This role involves working on sites nationwide, with regular travel and the potential for overnight stays required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting and decorating to a high standard
  • Make good surfaces following fire door and boarding installations
  • Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, and priming
  • Ensure work areas are left clean and presentable
  • Work closely with installation teams on-site
  • Follow all health & safety procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a painter/decorator
  • Experience in making good and finishing works (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Willingness to travel and stay away during the week
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
