  • Location: Magherafelt (with a requirement to work across the whole of Northern Ireland)
  • Hours per week: Mon-Fri, 40 hours
  • Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Job Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs to a variety of building services including but limited to - Minor Roof repair works, Joinery tasks, Painting, small building work (Kerbing, Paving), Plastering and Tiling.

  • Be involved with small refurbishments, planned maintenance and reactive works.

  • Work with minimal supervision and have the ability to make decisions on the most appropriate

    repair or solution.

  • Complete and finalise individual tasks to a high standard and have the ability to self-snag works on

    completion.

  • Play a key role in planning and completing a range of works associated Maintenance and Planned

    Preventive Maintenance.

  • Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high profile Clients and go the extra mile to deliver

    to the highest quality standards in all areas.

  • Produce clear and concise reporting for the Client through systems and verbal reporting.

  • Utilise work through PDAs / mobiles to complete works key communications and updates.

  • Apply the knowledge of your specific trade.

  • Work in tight spaces and high levels.

  • Effectively communicate with clients.

  • Following health and safety guidelines.

  • Understand technical instructions

This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.

About You

Essential Criteria

1. NVQ or equivalent in a building trade

2. Demonstrate good knowledge of all maintenance works within a planned and reactive maintenance team

3. Current UK Drivers License

Desirable Criteria

1. First Aid Training

2. Additional construction qualifications

3. Manual Handling training

4. COSHH training

5. Confined space training

6. IPAF card holder

7. CSR Card
