Full job description

Dental Technician – 3D Print & Fabrication | Yorkshire Dental Suite | Leeds

Yorkshire Dental Suite is the UK’s highest-rated associate-led private dental group. We are expanding — and as part of that expansion we are building an in-house aligner and retainer manufacturing facility at our Leeds lab.

This is a ground floor opportunity to join a fast-growing dental group at the start of something significant.

We are looking for a dental technician to join our Leeds lab full time, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The role sits at the heart of our clinical production — processing 3D printed models, manufacturing clear aligners, and producing retainers to the standard our patients expect.

What the role involves:

  • Operating and managing 3D printing equipment to produce dental models from digital files
  • Processing printed models accurately and efficiently
  • Fabricating clear aligners and retainers from processed models
  • Maintaining equipment, materials, and lab cleanliness to a high standard
  • Working closely with our clinical and treatment coordination teams to meet production schedules

The Environment

Our Leeds lab is equipped with some of the latest 3D printing and aligner manufacturing technology on the market. We are an established dental group with an experienced lab team already in place — this role is part of a deliberate and well-funded expansion of our manufacturing capability.

What we are looking for:

  • Some experience in a dental laboratory environment — whether in a technician, assistant, or production role
  • Comfortable working with digital workflows and dental equipment
  • Precise, methodical, and consistent in your approach
  • Someone who takes pride in the quality of what they produce
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Previous experience with clear aligner production, thermoforming, or 3D printing in a dental or medical setting would be a distinct advantage — but we are willing to train the right person.

What we offer:

  • Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm — no weekends, no evenings
  • A stable, growing role within one of the UK’s leading private dental groups
  • A modern, well-equipped lab with some of the latest technology in the industry
  • Talented colleagues already in place who will support your development
  • Genuine opportunity to grow as our manufacturing facility scales
  • Salary: £35,000 per year

The Process

Shortlisted candidates will speak directly and confidentially with our group lab manager — straight answers about the role, the facility, and what working with us looks like. If there’s a mutual fit, the next step is a trial day so you can see the environment first-hand before making any decision.

Apply below. Shortlisting is underway.
