About the Role
We are looking for experienced, trauma-informed Residential Support Workersto join our team supporting girls and young womenin our specialist supported accommodation for looked after girls.

This is a 1:1 focused support role, meaning you will be working closely with one 17 year old looked after girl on your shift, building a trusted, consistent relationship and supporting them in both the home and community. Whilst overseeing the support of an additional young person within the home however you will be mainly allocated to one girl.

Shift Patterns Available
We are currently recruiting for:

  • Option 1:

2 weekends on / 2 weekends off
9am – 9pm shifts

  • Option 2:

Every weekend
9am – 9pm shifts

(No sleep-ins or night shifts required)

About You
You must have experience working with:

  • Girls and young women (16+)
  • CSE / exploitation risk
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Looked After Children / Care Leavers
  • Complex emotional and behavioural needs

You are someone who:

  • Builds strong, trusted relationships
  • Understands boundaries with warmth
  • Can remain calm in high-risk or emotionally intense situations
  • Is consistent, reliable, and reflective in practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 supportto a young person during your shift
  • Support with daily routines, independence, and life skills
  • Maintain safe, structured, and nurturing environments
  • Respond to risk and safeguarding concerns appropriately
  • Complete clear and accurate case notes
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team and professionals

Important Notes

  • This role is female-only(due to the needs of the young people)
