Full job description

We are currently looking to recruit a new member of staff in a dual role to join our small busy office team at Don Valley, based just outside Inverurie.

This position is a varied role and encompasses primarily customer service, administrative duties as well as H & S responsibilities. The successful candidate would assist customers, both in person and by email/telephone in a professional and understanding manner, processing orders accurately, organising deliveries etc.

The successful candidate will ideally also bring some Health & Safety knowledge and would be responsible for maintaining high standards of H & S within the business, and would potentially carry out H & S Inductions, staff tool box training, and be responsible for organising ongoing staff training, regular certification for machinery and property as well as looking after our transport/vehicles maintenance.

Good verbal and written communication skills, great organisational skills and an ability to problem solve as well as excellent attention to detail are essential.

Previous experience of Microsoft Word and Excel would be required whilst Xero accounts experience, would be welcomed.

Hours would be approximately 25 per week spread over 5 days Monday to Friday, however the candidate would be required to work full-time hours over a few weeks of the year to cover staff holidays in the office. Full-time hours are 7.30am until 5pm during our busier months and 8am until 4.30pm in the low season.

Hourly rate will depend upon experience.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
