Tiddlywinks Nursery Group Milnrow are looking for a part time administrator/receptionist to join their team. The role is for 25 hours per week working 12.45pm - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities of Nursery Administrator

  • Work closely with the management team to support everyday tasks, providing administrative decisions and ensuring all duties are upheld to the highest of standards.
  • Supporting with day to day phone calls and being responsible for the reception desk, signing in visitors and welcoming families in to the nursery.
  • Work on their own initiative as well as being flexible and able to adapt to new situations.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively in person, through email and written correspondence.
  • Use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, FAMLY, TEAMS etc., to produce correspondence, documents, records, spreadsheets and databases.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism whilst liaising with staff, children and their families within the nursery and assist the Tiddlywinks management teams where needed.
  • Be responsible for the collection and accurate input of electronic data.
  • Use management systems to maintain and update internal databases.
  • Work within the margins of confidentially respecting information pertaining to children, parents and staff.
  • Due to our Safer Recruitment policy and the nature of the position the suitable candidate will need an enhanced DBS check and 3 references.
