Full job description

Knutsford Medical Partnership is looking for an organised, proactive, and conscientious Administrator to join our friendly and supportive practice team on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy healthcare environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the practice by managing Subject Access Requests (SARs), private medical reports, and a range of general administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Subject Access Requests (SARs) in accordance with UK GDPR and practice policies.
  • Prepare and administer private medical reports and medical record requests.
  • Liaise with patients, solicitors, insurance companies, and other external organisations regarding medical documentation.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Provide administrative support to clinicians and the wider practice team.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support the smooth running of the practice.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous administrative experience (experience within a GP surgery or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential).
  • Has excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Can manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Has strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Experience with EMIS Web or other GP clinical systems would be an advantage.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understands the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately.
  • Is able to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team.
