Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Office Admin Support / Bookkeeping professional to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of accounting software and administrative tasks, who can efficiently support daily financial and clerical operations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting with customer quoting and invoicing and general billing enquiries, resource allocation and appointment booking and providing general administrative assistance and full filling other adhoc duties to ensure smooth office functioning.

Preference for candidates to have previous telecoms industry (or similar) experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bookkeeping duties using recognised accounting software Xero
  • Manage customer accounts processes, including quoting and invoice checking and billing queries
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence management
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of administrative tasks
  • Update and maintain client and supplier information within accounting systems

Experience

  • Proven experience in office administration or bookkeeping roles, ideally within a similar industry
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
  • Experience handling accounts payable processes and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently

Pay: From £24,500.00 per year
