Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality, professional clinical and technical TDM service to the Trust and external users, working to national standards, accreditation requirements, and departmental policies.
Participate in the evaluation, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement of analytical techniques used within the service, including assays for immunosuppressive drugs and other therapeutic agents.
Support research, development, audit, and service improvement activities relating to therapeutic drug monitoring, particularly in renal and transplant patient care.
Assist with the day-to-day operation of the TDM laboratory, ensuring timely and accurate processing, analysis, and reporting of patient samples, and provide support to senior staff as required.
Support the training of supervision staff in accordance with departmental training programmes and service requirements.
Maintain compliance with HCPC standards, ISO 15189 accreditation requirements, health and safety regulations, and the quality management system.
