Full job description

Situated downstairs from the Treeby & Bolton Shop & Gallery, Treeby & Bolton Café is a stylish and contemporary café in the centre of Keswick offering a tempting selection of cakes, light bites, lunches and the excellent Square Mile coffee.

We are looking for someone to help in our busy cafe week over the weekend (Saturday & Sunday) with a minimum of 6 hours and maximum 10 hours per week (if available further shifts could be available mid week). Typical shifts will vary from 3-5 hours a day. The candidate must be flexible and able to work varying shift lengths depending on how busy the cafe is and also be available to work additional shifts over school holidays and bank holidays.

We are looking for someone who enjoys making our customers happy, is hard working, flexible, friendly and enjoys working as part of a busy team. Applicants must be able to work in a fast paced environment. We can offer full training, straight daytime shifts, good rates of pay, a discretionary annual bonus scheme, staff discount in the café and shop and a workplace pension.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Providing our customers with great customer service;

Clearing tables and helping in the potwash;

Serving drinks, food and cakes to customers;

Keeping the café clean and tidy
