Full job description

Job Summary

Prepare and serve quality drinks and light food while creating a welcoming experience for customers. You’ll help keep service running smoothly and maintain a clean, well-organised café.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare coffee, tea and other drinks to order, following recipes and customer preferences.
  • Serve customers courteously, take orders and handle queries.
  • Support food preparation and present items neatly.
  • Keep counters, equipment and dining areas clean, following food safety practices.
  • Your impact: Attentive service and consistent preparation help customers enjoy a pleasant visit and receive their orders accurately.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and serving skills, with clear communication.
  • Good time management and the ability to stay organised during busy periods.
  • Basic maths skills for taking orders and processing payments.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygienic food preparation.
  • Previous barista experience is welcome; a willingness to learn is valued.
