TRAINEE KITCHEN ASSISTANT / KITCHEN PORTER

BUNTY'S THE VILLAGE KITCHEN

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Are you looking to get your first proper experience in a professional kitchen?

BUNTY'S THE VILLAGE KITCHEN is looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Trainee Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn, develop their skills and potentially progress into a more senior kitchen role over time. You don’t need years of kitchen experience. The right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn are what matter most.

YOUR ROLL WILL INCLUDE:

  • Helping the kitchen team with preparation
  • Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
  • Preparing ingredients and assisting with basic food preparation
  • Supporting the chef during busy services
  • Keeping work areas, equipment and storage areas clean
  • Following food hygiene and safety procedures
  • Helping with stock rotation and deliveries
  • Working as part of a small, busy kitchen team
  • Learning new kitchen skills and techniques
