Job Summary

Join the Team at Ginger Monkey Coffee Shop ☕

Are you looking to work in a friendly, family-owned coffee shop? We’d love to welcome two new team members to our small, supportive team.

At Ginger Monkey we pride ourselves on creating a warm, inclusive environment that is both child and dog friendly.

The Role

We are recruiting for two team members to work 2/3 days per week, inc days at weekend.

Please only apply if you are available to work weekends, as weekend availability is essential for this role.

What We’re Looking For

● Previous experience working in a coffee shop, café, or a similar hospitality environment.

● A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a small team.

● Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.

● An interest in coffee would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

● Working in the kitchen, cooking full menu and keeping food standards high.

● Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.

● Providing friendly customer service.

● Helping keep the café clean, organised, and running smoothly.

Full on-the-job training will be provided. A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is preferred but not essential, as this can be completed after you start.
