Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality beverages. As a Senior Barista, you will lead by example, ensuring the smooth operation of the coffee station while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks in accordance with company standards.
  • Oversee daily operations at the coffee station, ensuring efficiency and quality control.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members to uphold service excellence.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
  • Manage stock levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers professionally and courteously.
  • Handle cash register operations, including processing payments accurately.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils at all times.
  • Support the team during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices within a food service environment.
  • Experience in serving customers efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
  • Ability to perform food preparation tasks accurately and swiftly.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Previous experience in training or mentoring junior staff is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering exceptional service in a professional setting.
