Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, hardworking Cafe Assistant to join our team in a busy setting based within The Museum of Somerset in Castle Green, Taunton.

The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the cafe.

Duties
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the cafe area
- Assist in stock management and inventory control
- Handle customer orders and requests and provide excellent customer service to all
- Operate the coffee machine and other cafe equipment

Experience/Requirements

- Previous barista experience would be highly beneficial.
- Experience in food preparation.

-The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Excellent customer service & communication skills
- Willingness to help others and work as part of a team

This role will definitely include working on a Saturday. Other hours may be available during the week & at our Sister businesses.

The cafe is open Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm so working hours will be within these times.
