Overview

Join our café team as a Barista, creating a welcoming experience while preparing quality drinks and food. You’ll balance friendly service with careful, efficient work throughout the day.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve coffee, other drinks and food items to order.
  • Welcome customers, take orders and handle questions with a helpful approach.
  • Follow food safety practices when preparing, storing and serving food.
  • Keep the counter, equipment and customer areas clean and organised.
  • Use basic maths to process orders and check transactions accurately.
  • Manage your time to keep service moving during busy periods.

Qualifications

  • A friendly, customer-focused approach and clear communication.
  • Good time management, attention to detail and basic maths skills.
  • Understanding of food safety and safe food preparation practices.
  • Serving or barista experience is welcome; previous experience is not essential.
