Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic Waiting Staff to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the face of our cafe, providing outstanding guest service with energy and professionalism. Your role is vital in ensuring guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and satisfied from the moment they arrive until their departure. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and love creating memorable dining experiences, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or order pads
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Ensure food safety standards are upheld during service and food preparation
  • Check on guests regularly to ensure their needs are met and address any concerns promptly
  • Clear tables, process payments accurately, and thank guests sincerely to foster loyalty

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions confidently
  • Familiarity with food preparation or kitchen experience is a plus
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
  • Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
  • Ability to upsell menu items naturally to maximize guest enjoyment and sales
