About Us:

Emberton Park Café is a friendly, welcoming spot in the heart of Emberton Country Park, serving freshly made food, drinks, and treats to visitors year-round. We’re passionate about great customer service and creating a warm, community-focused atmosphere.

The Role:

We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Leader to join our café team and be able to work weekends and school holidays. You’ll take charge of the day-to-day running of the café in manager's absence during your shifts, ensuring everything runs smoothly, from staff management to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support café team members during busy weekend shifts
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Ensure smooth running of service, from food prep to till operations
  • Handle stock management, cashing up, and daily reports
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
  • Pay to be reviewed once probation period ends
  • Be a positive role model and point of contact for the team
  • Open and close cafe when needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in hospitality, café, or retail leadership,
  • Barista skills welcomed
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Reliable and flexible to work weekend hours, especially Saturdays
  • A passion for delivering great service and leading a team
