Clerical Worker
Fox Covert Early Years Centre

Salary: £27,257 - £29,850 (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 13 per week

Fox Covert Early Years is a setting, with capacity for 85 children at any one time, attending various patterns of attendance between 8am and 6pm, 52 weeks per year.

Our staff team is friendly, supportive, and committed to ensuring we provide consistent high-quality play and learning experiences. Our play environments are natural, warm, and welcoming, with nurturing and richly resourced spaces, indoors and out. We recognise all children as curious, capable learners, valuing collaboration, participation, and engagement with all stakeholders. Through time, our setting has embedded a positive Growth Mindset ethos, committed to continuous professional learning that in turn supports our learners to be the best they can.

As a standalone setting, our establishment is situated within a campus alongside two Primary Schools, and we are dedicated and active participants within our Learning Community and beyond.

We are now looking for a motivated and passionate Clerical Worker to join the team. Although no formal qualification is required, candidates should have a good basic education and be literate and numerate. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience, be able to organise their own workload and ensure all required tasks are completed. They should also be knowledgeable and confident with using Microsoft Office products to a high standard and be generally IT literate.

Please read the attached Clerical Worker job pack for further information. If you have any questions regarding the job role or require any other information, please contact the Nursery / Centre directly. You can search for contact details on the Council website https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/directory/10191/early-learning-and-childcare
