About the role:
We are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspiring Criminology Teacher to join our Reading College team.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with passion and drive who is committed to enabling our students on level 3 criminology courses to unlock their potential and switch on to the power of learning.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 29.6 hours per week across four days (0.8 FTE) at our Reading College campus. Which days are worked is flexible for the right candidate.
What do you need to be successful as a Criminology Teacher at Activate Learning?
Successful candidates will have an appropriate professional qualification and/or a degree preferably with some teaching experience. Whilst we would prefer applications from qualified teachers who hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification, we would consider applications from unqualified applicants, with the ability to inspire our learners and a willingness to complete a teaching qualification.
In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
