About us

Youth Revisited is a UK health and diagnostics provider delivering at-home and clinic-based blood testing, supported by our own clinical laboratory in Grimsby. We're putting a permanent clinical structure in place ahead of CQC registration, and we're looking for the doctor to sit at the center of it.

The role

The senior clinical voice in the business. You'll own the clinical standard, the governance, and the prescribing, and act as our Registered Manager with CQC.

Clinical governance and oversight

Overall clinical governance and medical oversight across the service

Review and sign-off of clinical policies, protocols and patient-facing reports

Clinical training and competency assurance across the team

Leading and supporting our CQC registration and ongoing compliance

Prescribing and clinical delivery

Assessing, initiating and monitoring testosterone replacement therapy

Patient consultations

Medicines management, procurement, storage, emergency medicines, safe prescribing systems

Clinical oversight of IV therapy and therapeutic venesection

Registered Manager

Named Registered Manager with CQC, with day-to-day responsibility for the safe operation of the regulated activity

Oversight of our on-site and mobile phlebotomy services, including staff competency and training

Safeguarding oversight and escalation

Incident reporting, risk assessment and infection control assurance

Representing the service during CQC inspections, reviews and regulatory correspondence

Working alongside our Quality Manager and Nominated Individual on audit, CAPA and QMS oversight

What we need from you

Full GMC registration, current licence to practise, no restrictions

GP Register or Specialist Register

Revalidation up to date with a named Responsible Officer

Willingness and eligibility to be registered with CQC as our Registered Manager, including completing the CQC application and fit person interview

Medical indemnity covering private practice and hormone prescribing, or the willingness to arrange it

Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one

Safeguarding Adults Level 2 as a minimum

Current life support training

On-site presence at our Grimsby site on regular named days. This is a CQC expectation as much as an operational one

The capacity to carry named regulatory accountability alongside any existing post

Desirable

Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Nominated Individual or Clinical Lead through CQC registration or inspection

Private men's health, TRT or hormone optimisation experience

General practice, endocrinology, urology or sexual health background

Confidence interpreting broad biochemistry, haematology and hormone panels

This is a genuinely part-time post built around an existing commitment, a defined number of hours on named days, at £500 per Week. We fund any TRT and governance training you need, and you'll work to written protocols with defined thresholds while you build the caseload. What we're offering is clinical autonomy, a senior seat in a growing business, and the chance to build the framework rather than inherit one.
