Full job description

We are looking for naturally caring individuals to join our Innovative Homecare Team

We offer luxury homecare – and excellent job opportunities.

Focused on supporting our clients to live well, it’s an ethos that extends to our team, too.

After all, you have to live well to do a job well, and that’s what we are all about – creating supportive, nurturing environment for both our clients and colleagues.

We’re looking to expand our team, recruiting team members who have the drive to deliver the finest quality of care, offering support and companionship to people who are living in their own homes in affluent areas of London.

For this role, we’re looking to welcome new personal assistants – and that could be you, even if you have never worked as one before.

Of course, if you do have experience in delivering care that would clearly be beneficial and indeed, ideal – but it is not essential.

You need a caring, kind and compassionate nature. If this is coupled with a keen desire to care and support people living the best life possible, then we’d love to hear from you – as we know you’ll be the right fit.

Are you someone who is warm, compassionate, approachable, dedicated, dynamic and have excellent communication skills? Then, please get in touch.

Full training is provided, so we’re focused on your personality. To deliver person-centred care and to look after people, you have to really care – and this is something that has to come naturally. A caring inclination isn’t taught, it’s ingrained.

You will, though, be supported to learn the fundamentals of the role in a supportive environment.

We are offering fixed contracted hours as well as flexible working and we match our team members to our clients based on skills, personality, backgrounds, interests and availability.

So, what does the day to day look like?

You will be working with one or two clients to support them to live life exactly as they wish. You will be supported by a team of colleagues who will all be involved in ensuring that your client(s) receives the highest quality of care every day.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring our clients (who are predominantly older people)receive exceptional care that truly reflects our standards. Meeting, and indeed, exceeding their needs and expectations.
  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, general grooming, and toiletry needs, as well as supporting with mobility issues (moving and positioning and falls prevention) as required.
  • Supporting people to eat and drink well, ensuring enjoyable, nutritionally balanced mealtime experiences.
  • Providing daily assistance with medication.
  • Monitoring health and well-being, according to individual care plans.
  • Enabling clients to life their best days possible by proactively engaging in conversation, reminiscing, fulfilling interests, hobbies, and social activities, both within and outside of the home.
  • Helping to maintain high standards of home environments, including housework, changing of bed linen, laundry, and ironing.
  • Helping with any pet care, such as feeding and walking of dogs, or changing cat litter trays.
  • Ensuring high standards of infection control
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate care records, whilst following a dedicated care plan.
  • Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect always.
  • Contributing to teamwork where required and assisting colleagues positively and promptly.
  • Caring is a profession, you will be required to work with a professional manner and approach always, working within industry codes of conduct and maintaining company standards.
