Full Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and organised Accounts Office Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience in an accounts and office environment.
The successful candidate will support the accounts department with day-to-day administrative and financial tasks while developing valuable accounting and office skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with general accounts administration
- Processing purchase invoices and sales invoices
- Data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
- Credit Card analysis and expense coding
- Filing and organising financial documents
- Supporting the accounts team with daily tasks
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails when required
- General office administrative duties
Requirements
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) preferred
- Previous office or accounts experience is beneficial but not essential
