Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all communal areas, resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, and staff areas to a high standard.
• Carry out daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including safe use of cleaning products and PPE.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness to support the health, wellbeing, and dignity of residents.
• Dispose of waste safely and appropriately, including clinical and general waste where required.
• Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and stock as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards, damage, or concerns to management promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures and COSHH guidelines at all times.
• Work sensitively and respectfully around residents, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous but not mandatory
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude
• Reliable with a flexible approach to working hours
