Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Helpdesk Operative to provide exceptional technical and customer support within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming queries, assisting users with technical issues, and ensuring efficient resolution of problems. This role requires excellent communication skills, a professional phone manner, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with organisation and efficiency. Please note that this is not an IT support role.

There are various shifts available.

Pay rates depend on shifts as the weekend rate is higher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Service Centre team in delivering services that meet contract requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to Service Leads to help minimise service disruptions.
  • Coordinate reactive and planned maintenance work with both in-house teams and contractors.
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring company procedures are followed.
  • Schedule contractor site inductions and manage contractor documentation.
  • Keep calendars, schedules, and records up to date.
  • Monitor ongoing work and help resolve issues quickly to maintain service standards.
  • Support improvements to systems and processes, including CAFM and other digital tools.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping by updating reports, documents, and the CAFM system.
  • Assist with reception duties when required.
  • Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver an efficient, high-quality service.
