Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Seasonal Housekeeper to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation across our Holiday cottage premises during the seasonal period. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the hospitality industry and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and service excellence.

Duties

  • Clean cottages and public areas in accordance with hotel standards
  • Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
  • Ensure all surfaces are dust-free, floors are vacuumed and mopped, and waste is disposed of appropriately
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management in a timely manner
  • Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist with organising linen supplies and cleaning materials
  • Support other housekeeping staff as needed to ensure efficient operations during busy periods

Skills

  • Previous housekeeping experience is highly desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work during the seasonal period, including weekends if required
