Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe/Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring our cafe/shop operates smoothly and efficiently, providing excellent service to our customers. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about food and customer service, with a keen eye for detail.

Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe/shop area, including dining spaces and kitchen.
  • Help serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders and answering queries about menu items.
  • Manage stock levels, assisting with inventory checks and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Support the team in maintaining a positive atmosphere within the café, contributing to an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
  • Perform basic maths calculations for order processing and till operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
