Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our professional team. This role involves supporting the dental laboratory in creating high-quality dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities

  • Model preparation – manual and digital
  • Handling digital workflow
  • 3D printing using Asiga printers
  • Wax, press and fitting
  • Cad milling-wet and dry
  • Communicate effectively with dental professionals regarding specifications, adjustments, or concerns related to laboratory work.
  • Keep accurate records of procedures, materials used, and completed work for documentation purposes.
  • Manage inventory levels of supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience or knowledge in Dental Technology is advantageous but not essential.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills in English to liaise effectively with dental professionals and patients.
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new techniques and procedures related to dental laboratory work.
