Full job description

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to work a combination of shifts and must be flexible in covering both morning and afternoon sessions according to the needs of the practice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and carrying out a range of administrative duties. This position requires a professional attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical practice or healthcare setting and will be comfortable interacting with patients of all ages. Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and register patients in a professional manner.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain patient records.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Collect co-payments and other payments from patients.
  • Provide information about the clinic services, policies, and procedures.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
