Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented associate to join our used electronics business. The role involves testing, grading, cleaning, and preparing consumer electronics for resale.

You will mainly work with cameras, lenses, gaming consoles, and other consumer electronics.

TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

Responsibilities

  • Test used electronics to ensure full functionality
  • Inspect items for faults, damage, or missing parts
  • Grade cosmetic condition accurately
  • Check camera functions such as autofocus, zoom, buttons, ports, sensors, audio, and battery performance
  • Test gaming consoles and accessories
  • Clean products to resale standard
  • Report faults and issues clearly
  • Assist with packing and preparing orders when required
  • Maintain organised testing and storage areas, including disposing of recycling and empty boxes at the end of each day.

Requirements

  • Previous experience with cameras or electronics is preferred but not essential

Working Hours / Days

  • 20 hours - Monday to Friday - 2-6PM

Pay

  • Starting at minimum wage, with the a pay review after successful completion of a 3-month probation period. Employees who consistently meet or exceed the required KPIs will be eligible for a pay increase progressively, up to £15 per hour.

  • In person office based in Castle Donington

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
