As we continue to expand our services and geographical reach, we are seeking an experienced Bid & Contracts Manager to support our growth through successful tender submissions, framework applications and contract management.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced consultant with a background in education, SEND, Alternative Provision, local authority procurement or public sector tendering.

Purpose of the Role

To identify, coordinate, prepare and submit successful bids, tenders and framework applications that support the growth of Prepped Education Group.

Working closely with the Education Director and wider leadership team, you will help secure opportunities that enable the organisation to support more students, families and local authorities.

The role will also support contract management, framework compliance and future county expansion plans.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Education Director

Works closely with:

  • Managing Director
  • Commercial Director
  • Operations Director
  • Centre Managers
  • SEND and Education Teams

Key Responsibilities - Bid & Tender Management

  • Identify suitable tender opportunities.
  • Monitor procurement portals and framework opportunities.
  • Coordinate and submit tender responses.
  • Manage bid timelines and submission deadlines.
  • Gather supporting evidence and documentation.
  • Produce high-quality written responses.

Framework & DPS Applications

  • Complete Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) applications.
  • Maintain framework registrations.
  • Monitor framework opportunities and updates.
  • Coordinate onboarding requirements.

Contract Management

  • Maintain a register of contracts and framework memberships.
  • Monitor renewal and review dates.
  • Support contract mobilisation and implementation.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met.

Bid Library Development

  • Develop and maintain a central bid library.
  • Create reusable responses.
  • Maintain case studies and impact evidence.
  • Organise policies, procedures and supporting documentation.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work with senior leaders to gather information and evidence.
  • Liaise with local authorities and procurement teams where appropriate.
  • Coordinate contributions from Commercial, Operations and Education teams.
  • Support the preparation of presentations and supporting documents.

Strategic Growth Support

  • Identify opportunities for geographical expansion.
  • Monitor local authority commissioning activity.
  • Research new procurement opportunities.
  • Support strategic growth projects and service development.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience of public sector tendering and procurement.
  • Is an excellent writer and communicator.
  • Understands education, SEND or Alternative Provision markets.
  • Can work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Is commercially aware and growth-focused.
  • Builds positive relationships with stakeholders.
