Social Media Content Creator (Football)

Location: HarrowHours: Part-time (Weekly – must be available on weekends and some weekdays)

About Us

Kick Ups Academy is a growing youth football club with a mission to take grassroots football to the next level across the London Borough of Harrow. We provide high-quality coaching in a positive, inclusive, and enjoyable environment where children can develop both on and off the pitch.

We’re looking for a creative, reliable and football-loving Content Creator to join us on a weekly basis and help showcase everything happening at the club.

What We’re Looking For

  • A genuine passion for football is essential.
  • Available every week to attend weekend sessions and occasional weekday sessions.
  • Confident filming football training sessions, matches and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Skilled in photography, videography and short-form content creation.
  • Experienced using Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends and how to create engaging content.
  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently.
  • Passionate about helping grow a football brand.

Main Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality photos and videos during training sessions and matchdays.
  • Edit and publish:
  • 3 engaging videos per week across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • 2–4 photo posts per week on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Create football-focused content including player highlights, training clips, matchday content, challenges and behind-the-scenes footage.
  • Maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Produce and send weekly Mailchimp newsletters to parents.
  • Plan and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and grow our audience.
  • Manage our social media accounts and respond to comments and messages where required.
  • Monitor performance using social media analytics and provide regular reports with ideas for improvement.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience creating content for sports or football organisations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva or similar).
  • Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok and Facebook content.
  • Creative eye for capturing football moments.
  • Reliable, proactive and able to meet weekly deadlines.
