Full job description

We are a leading consumer law firm with our main priority to secure the highest compensation amount for our clients, ensuring that justice lands firmly on their side. Due to our increase in caseload, we are looking for an additional receptionist to join our team. This role is responsible for being front of house for all incoming phone calls and visitors together with administrative support for the Office Assistant Team. Your key tasks:

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all callers/visitors
  • Effective Operation of the Company Switchboard
  • Correct information passed to the Client in line with reception FAQs
  • Effective call transfer process to relevant person or team
  • Accurate and detailed messages taken and emailed to relevant departments.
  • Control access and security to the building
  • General administrative tasks linked to the reception role.
  • Responsibility of the visitors log and emergency documents in the event of a fire/emergency.
  • To manage appropriately any breaches in line with company, regulatory, legislative requirements involving appropriate stakeholders where necessary
  • Ensure a clear handover to any other reception staff/cover in place including a clean down of all equipment and reception area

Education or equivalent:

  • GCSEs Including English and Maths

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer facing administrative or reception role and fast passed call environment.
  • Experience in the use of VisualFiles or similar case management system is desirable but not essential
