Kitchen Assistant – Part Time Alternative Weekends, The Potting Shed Restaurant

Location: Duns, Berwickshire

Hours: Every Second Weekend

Saturday 9am – 4.15pm & Sunday 9am – 4.15pm

The Potting Shed Restaurant in Duns is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen Assistant, on a part time basis every second weekend. The successful candidate will share the Team's vision of providing a first-class service to its customers, be driven to succeed and be looking for challenging & rewarding career.

Duties will include:

  • Preparation of all food in accordance with specified menu
  • To prepare salads, paninis, help with breakfast plates & putting lunch plates together.
  • Ensure all hygiene and health and safety processes are followed and recorded while on duty
  • Work efficiently with Head Chef to plan, prep and deliver high standards of food
  • Also, general kitchen duties such as washing up, cleaning down etc.

Qualifications:

Food & Hygiene – Desirable but not essential

Responsible to: Manager & Head Chef

Hourly Rate: Above National Living Wage
