Restaurant Team Member
Location: Woodthorpe
Contract Type: Temporary (ending 31.12.2026)
Hours: Part Time - 10 Hours Per Week – Including Weekdays & Weekends
Working Pattern: 3 out of 7 days

At British Garden Centres not only do we aim to deliver a great experience in our centres, but we go above and beyond in creating an exceptional dining Experience too.

We have a great opportunity for Restaurant Team Members to come and join our friendly Restaurant. Bringing our food and Restaurant to life for our guest to remember. Must be fully flexible, hours involve weekday and weekend work.

May be required to use a computerised tilling system.

Will also involve usual jobs associated with working in a busy restaurant.

Must be Friendly & Confident for this customer facing role.

Be able to work on own initiative & as part of a team, able to adapt to the demands & speed of the business at peak trading.

Skills required:

· Previous experience in a similar hospitality or customer‑facing role

· Full flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekdays, weekends and bank holidays

Duties will include:

· Carrying out all aspects of day‑to‑day restaurant operations

· Serving customers in a warm, efficient, and professional manner

· Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, including barista‑style coffees

· Clearing and cleaning tables to maintain a tidy dining area

· General cleaning duties such as sweeping and mopping

· Washing up and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas

· Operating the till and processing transactions accurately

· Handling money responsibly and following company procedures
