Full job description

We're looking for talented Chefs of levels BOH staff to join the team at our popular, authentic Korean restaurant in Cambridge.

You’ll also spend time with energetic people, engage with customers and have lots of fun too.

It doesn’t stop there. We also offer training so that you could become a Leader, Manager, and Chef.

What we expect from our BOH team members:

  • Previous experience working in restaurants or hospitality is preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Support daily restaurant operations including opening and closing duties when required
  • Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Be available to work weekdays and weekends
  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Passionate about food and customer service
  • Dedicated to creating an outstanding customer experience
  • Hands-on attitude with good problem-solving skills
  • Ensure the restaurant maintains company standards for food hygiene and cleanliness
  • Complete any other duties assigned by managers
  • Professional work experience at a Korean/Japanese/Chinese Kitchen is preferred however training will be given, so enthusiasm and willingness to learn is a must.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Learning recipes and cooking dishes to our expected high quality and standards
  • Provide support to chefs during food preparation and service
  • Help the kitchen team carry out daily HACCP and opening & closing checks in accordance to food safety regulations
  • Must ensure kitchen appliances, equipment, work surfaces, floors and walls are cleaned, sanitised and well maintained on a daily basis to industry standards
  • Assist the team when receiving and unloading deliveries whilst making sure stock is stored properly by tidying and maintaining storage rooms
