Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise within a professional kitchen environment, contributing to a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
  • Assist in the organisation and management of designated sections within the kitchen
  • Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate requirements for replenishment to the head chef or sous chef
  • Support in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices as required
  • Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas and recipes

Experience

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a professional kitchen setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques and culinary styles
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
