Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to specified recipes and standards
  • Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely delivery during service hours
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Support the team in plating and presentation of dishes to meet quality standards
  • Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or catering environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards
  • Previous experience working as a kitchen assistant or chef is desirable
