Job Overview

Join our vibrant pub kitchen team as a Pub Kitchen Cook, where your culinary skills will bring energy and flavor to our lively establishment! Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of pub-style dishes with efficiency and attention to quality
  • Follow recipes and kitchen procedures to ensure consistency in meal presentation and taste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
  • Assist in meal assembly, portioning, and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours
  • Support food inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supplies needed
  • Collaborate with serving staff to coordinate meal delivery and address special dietary requests
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly for optimal performance

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or pub setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and communication
  • Familiarity with meal preparation techniques, including grilling, frying, baking, and assembling dishes
  • Previous experience in serving or interacting with customers is a plus but not required
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • A valid driving license and vehicle due to our village location
