Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Bar and Restaurant Assistant Manager to lead our hospitality team with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food and beverage quality. Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent guest experiences
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and support personnel
  • Oversee service, cooking, bartending, and food production processes to meet quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Assist with inventory management, stock control, and ordering supplies for the restaurant and bar areas
  • Provide training on hospitality best practices, food safety procedures, and customer service excellence
  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction

Skills

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with strong team management skills
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, bartending skills, and culinary practices
  • Experience in food safety standards and food production processes within a restaurant environment
  • Ability to lead by example with excellent leadership qualities and a positive attitude
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations including serving protocols and customer engagement
  • Kitchen experience is highly desirable for versatile team support
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate between kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and guests
