Join Us as a Bank Retail Team Member

At Hospice in the Weald, we are committed to providing outstanding care for people facing life-limiting illness and supporting their families. Our network of retail shops plays a vital role in helping to fund this care, and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Bank Retail Team.

This is a flexible opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with people and want to contribute to a meaningful cause.

As part of our bank team, you will support our shops by providing cover during periods of vacancies, holidays, or sickness. You will help manage the day-to-day running of the shop, support our valued volunteers, and contribute to achieving our overall retail sales targets.

You will work alongside our shop volunteers to create a welcoming environment for customers and foster a positive, supportive team spirit within each shop, while also contributing proactively to the wider retail team.

We are currently looking for additional staff to support weekend cover across our retail shops in Kent, East Sussex, and Surrey.

About you

  • We are seeking individuals who:
  • Have a passion for retail and customer service
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Are enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to learn
  • Can support volunteers and help create a positive shop environment
  • Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence and access to a car would be beneficial but is not essential.
