Atlas Language School is a multiple award-winning English language school with campuses in Ireland, the UK, and Malta. We offer and deliver high value language courses to enable all our students to more confidently express themselves and engage with others in everyday conversation in an English language speaking setting.

Join our dynamic, supportive team in Liverpool and help students from all over the world learn English in the heart of this vibrant city!

The Role

We’re looking for qualified and enthusiastic English language teachers to join our team at Atlas Language School Liverpool. From July, we expect to bring on 3-4 new teachers and can offer a minimum of 15 teaching hours per week, even though the roles are offered on zero-hour contracts. The contract would be for 4 weeks intially, with more hours in the month of August as well more than likely. We’re also interested in hearing from teachers who would like to work primarily as cover.

You’ll deliver engaging, communicative lessons across a range of programmes, including:

  • General English Fluency (GEF) courses
  • Exam preparation classes
  • Young adult programmes

You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative teaching team with access to in-house materials and a wide range of published ELT resources to support your work.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of an Ordinary Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 or equivalent)
  • A British Council-recognised 120-hour TEFL qualification with at least 6 hours of observed teaching practice (e.g. CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL)
