Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant to join our team who can work Saturday and Sunday 8am-4pm twice a month as well as additional days including Bank Holidays, Easter, Christmas, New Year, Summer School Holidays and half terms.

This role is vital in providing exceptional care to our animal customers and a high level of customer service to their owners.

The ideal candidate will possess a passion for working with cats and small animals and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Duties

  • Manage the daily running and operation of the Cattery ensuring the welfare of the animals in our care
  • Daily clean of each occupied cat chalet / small animal hotel
  • Prepare the morning and evening feed for all our animal guests
  • Full clean and preparation of each chalet prior to any cat boarding
  • Ensure the care and welfare of each animal boarding
  • Taking and making customer bookings via phone/email using our specific software for bookings

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE Level 2/3 Animal Care/Management Qualification;
  • Previous Cattery experience would be an advantage;
  • Previous experience in dealing with customers - both via telephone and in person is essential;
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with animal care. .
  • A genuine love for cats (and small animals) and a commitment to their welfare.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the operational needs of the facility.
