Operations Team Member

Full or part time considered · Permanent

Based at Normanton, Wakefield, with regular travel to other sites

We're growing and our warehouse team needs another pair of hands. If you like variety, take pride in a tidy, well-run operation and enjoy dealing with people, this one's worth a look.

You'll be based at our Normanton HQ but out and about too, since a good chunk of our work happens offsite. It's hands-on, varied and no two days look quite the same. Alongside the core warehouse work, you'll get involved in cataloguing and lotting items on our auction platform, so an eye for detail and confidence with a screen will serve you well.

Location
Based at our Wakefield site, with travel as required. Some overnight stays may be needed (premium rate paid and hotel accommodation provided).

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm / Part-Time Considered
  • Opportunities for regular overtime

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and offloading vehicles safely, and handling stock with care
  • Working across our Normanton HQ and offsite locations as the job demands
  • Booking stock in and keeping the warehouse organised for quick turnaround
  • Cataloguing and lotting items on our auction platform
  • Helping customers and winning bidders collect their assets, and spotting the odd commercial opportunity along the way
  • Keeping things clean, safe and compliant with our health, safety and ISO standards

What We’re Looking For

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good attention to detail and happy following set processes
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Basic IT skills (e.g. using tablets or handheld devices)
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
  • Previous warehouse, removals, or logistics experience
