Contract: Split shifts (AM and PM), part time, term time.

Location: You will start and finish your day from your home, driving assigned routes across surrounding areas within and surrounding Aberdeen and surrounding areas.

About the Role

We are looking for reliable and caring drivers to join our team, providing safe and comfortable transport for children and adults, some with complex needs, to school, college or day care.

This is a split-shift role (AM and PM), ideal for those looking for part-time work during term time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport SEN or vulnerable children to and from schools, colleges, or day centres.
  • Operate in a professional, adaptable, and safety-conscious manner to support smooth service delivery.
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with passengers, their families/carers, and staff at the destinations.
  • Maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy, clean, and presentable condition at all times
  • Ensure availability for both morning and afternoon shifts on all school days.

Requirements

  • Valid full UK driving licence
  • Minimum one year of driving experience
  • Strong commitment to safeguarding and passenger welfare
  • DBS checks required before commencing work
  • Fit enough to pass a Group 2 medical (taxi licensing standard)

Due to the nature of the work a criminal record check via the DBS disclosure service will also be required.

As part of your assessment, you will be required to demonstrate knowledge, experience and skills in assisting and safeguarding passengers as well as emergency first aid at work
