Dental Receptionist

Affinity Dental Clinic is a family-owned and operated practice located in Basildon. We are seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our team! You will be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and maintaining excellent patient service. We are looking for someone who is dependable, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn about our dental office and our practices. We are looking for someone who is able to work with others as we are a team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Answering the phone and taking messages in a professional manner.
  • Scheduling patients for appointments.
  • Checking patients in and out.
  • Checking patient charts for accuracy and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed before the patient leaves.
  • Answering questions from patients about treatment options as well as other medical information.
  • Scheduling new patients for an appointment as well as maintaining our schedule of referrals.
  • Performing reception duties such as printing documents, copying documents, faxing documents, scanning documents, sorting mail, scanning packages, copying packages, answering office calls, ordering office supplies, making coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate etc. etc.
  • Providing excellent customer service by greeting patients with enthusiasm and respect.
  • Assisting other staff members with tasks when asked.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Dental office.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
