Full job description

Welcome Change works to support communities across East Birmingham and currently runs a Community Centre, Community Hub and Community Garden. We offer a range of services and activities to support wellbeing, build confidence and skills and reduce loneliness and isolation.

We are seeking an experienced fundraiser to help us raise money through a variety of channels, including grant funds, peer platforms, social value chain, events and campaigns.

Main Duties

  • Identify prospective funders and supporters.
  • Prepare funding proposals, grant applications, and sponsorship packages.
  • Manager funder and supporter information.
  • Organise fundraising events, campaigns, and supporter engagement activities.
  • Monitor fundraising progress, analyse data and prepare reports for management and stakeholders to optimise future strategies.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience in fundraising.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Research and analytical skills.
  • Time management and ability to meet fundraising targets.
