Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a pristine, welcoming environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all designated areas are spotless, hygienic, and well-organized. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to a positive experience for reisdents, visitors, and clients alike. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a small dynamic team committed to excellence and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of communal spaces, including floors, windows, and dusk collecting areas, common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and products
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in accordance with health and safety guidelines
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are maintained consistently
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
  • Use janitorial equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, mops, cleaning machines, buffers, and cleaning chemicals
  • Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required to uphold cleanliness standards

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for cleanliness and organization
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment
  • Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, walking and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable with a positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene
  • Ideally needs a car for additional work opportunities
